Iroko is a medium-hard species of timber with only slight shrinkage and excellent resistance to damp and wear.
It has an intricate vein pattern with iridescent highlights tending to golden brown, which darken over time. Due to its outstanding strength and durability, Iroko is suitable for use not just as flooring in homes but also in boat-building, since it is particularly resistant to saltwater.
